NOISE REDUCTION SUGGESTIONS FOR 2ND AND 3RD FLOORS
When living on the 2nd and 3rd floors in a 50-year-old building, remember that noise echoes through the tile floors. These noise reduction suggestions have been developed by residents who have experienced noise issues.
Put felt or rubber pads on the bottom of furniture, including chairs and table legs, to lessen the noise when furniture is moved.
Use small pads where cupboard doors and drawers close.
When in the condo, wear soft sole shoes like sneakers or slippers rather than
heels.
Put soft foam type kitchen liners in all cabinets & drawers.
If needed, use the adjustment screw on your storm door return so the door
does not slam shut in the wind.
Your downstairs neighbors will thank you!
